Generating Leads Without Leaving the Office
The client requested an engaging activity that focused on accuracy throughout the module rather than an assessment. I chose to develop this course using the CCAF model, which provides the learner with opportunities for challenges that test their knowledge.
This project was developed as a rapid prototype following a Savvy Start meeting and includes live video footage in which I scripted to provide learner with real life scenarios they may be faced with in the office.
Some images for this project have been replaced or blurred due to proprietary information.
Using narration, the learner is introduced to the idea of how they can generate new business without leaving the office.
The learner is immersed in the activity with a custom 360-degree image of the office lobby. (This image has been replaced due to proprietary information) There are several markers placed on items in the office where the learner clicks and is taken to a live video scenario, which I scripted and was filmed by our videographer. Each video is tied to an activity for the learner to complete.
Activity #1 (part 1) Narration prompts the learner to use the play button and watch and listen to live scenario, focusing on clues that provide opportunities for generating business without leaving the office.
Activity #1 (part 2) Narration prompts the learner to use the play button and watch and listen to the live scenario again, focusing clues that provide opportunities for generating business without leaving the office. The activity begins with an empty notepad, as they hear clues in the conversation, they click the magnifying glass and clues appear on the notepad. (This is part of the challenge; they only have a specific amount of time to capture the clue.)
Activity #2 (part 3) The clues are revealed on this slide. The learner can review what they added or if they missed clues, they will be seen here. Narration prompts the learner to use the clues on the notepad to answer the multi-select question. Learners are given 3 attempts to get the question correct and then they are given extensive, correct feedback on attempt #4.
Activity #2 -Knowledge check. The learner is then asked a question using narration based on the previous scenario. They are given 2 attempts, buzzers and bells are used to indicated correct or incorrect answers.
Correct Feedback Layer.
Correct answer is indicated by a bell.
Try Again Feedback Layer.
Try Again is indicated by a buzzer.
Incorrect Feedback Layer.
Incorrect answer is indicated by a buzzer.
Content is condensed to "need to know" only using the software program used within the organization. The learner is prompted to click on each tab, and as the tab is visited the star changes color indicated by a change of state. The learner must visit all tabs in order for the next button to be enabled.
